Presentations

Today in class we did presentations. There were three groups and they each got a different topic. My groups topic was Native Americans. Native Americans arrived in America about 12,000 to 17,000 years ago. They got here by the Ice Bridge. The Ice Bridge is a giant bridge made of ice that goes from Russia all the way to Alaska. The Native Americans followed the mammoths all the way down this bridge. Native Americans were the first people to ever live in the United States, as far as history tells us. They had to fight to survive. They had to find water and food. They also had to protect their lands form any dangerous threats. They came to the United States so they could live better and find new resources. But they didn't just settle in America and just stay there. They kept moving. This is what I learned about the Native Americans.
